Piano

It’s been a long time since I tried to play the piano.I guess my instructor was relieved when I stopped. Too small a talent, too busy making woopy, too sluggish, too ambitious making a career. All this lame excuses and much more.

Yesterday I had a sudden stab of painful regret.  It was caused by this:

Maybe I can restart practicing to become a new Glenn Gould still. I have to travel to Stockholm as soon as possible.

  • what a fun way to promote using stairs. :D

btw I like Martha Argerich better, Glenn Gould tends to play too fast, though it’s just my personal preference.

hi hi hi….hope your health wont fail you opa!

  • @ calvin: Martha Argerich is by no means to be sneezed at, nor is Maria Joao Pires for instance, but at my age it is pretty difficult to change gender, isn’t it? So I have to make my pick from male piano players.

@ Delvi: Okay, slightly overweight, spending too much time sitting down, yet you shouldn’t underestimate my physical fitness. I will run up and down any staircase like a lightning flash.

  • I wonder how much calories would burnt to play jingle bells song in this stair-piano…hehehe

  • @ anggi: I’ve a calculated guess here; 30 minutes rowing on my rowing machine makes me loose some 400 Kcal, so three minutes playing jingle bells tune, running up and down these steps in Stockholm, will take about 30 Kcal I think.

  • Eep! I just saw this..! Oh wow, that’s amazing, and definitely smile-inducing :D
