He also began using this topical medication/paste which dried up the warts and they started falling off. Dede returned to his village where he was told that a parcel of land was purchased/donated for him. He was still waiting to see if the surgery on his hand was successful and if the chemo stopped the warts from coming back. If all goes well, he will be able to tend to the land and make a living for himself and two children. I want another follow-up story as I am hooked on his progress. What happened? The show ended with no response from the American doctor and Dede going through surgery with his no bones in his fingers to continue his operation. Does any body know what happened?
