Update: Dede, Treeman from Cililin

080118cdede.jpgDede had his third operation on 24th January. It lasted 4 hours, 1 hour longer than expected. The team of doctors were able to remove his warts from his neck, back, and his thighs. This time, the team of doctors wanted to remove the giant wart from his legs as well, but the findings of tumors at his back made it impossible to fulfill the objective. The tumors were almost 700 grams. This time operations probably would be the hardest for Dede, as he got many more stitches than previously.

As mentioned earlier, most likely it will take Dede at least 4 more operations to remove all his warts. His condition according to the team of doctors from Hasan Sadikin hospital is good. Most importantly his spirit is still high to get well and go through all the operations. Go Dede!!

Thanks for the news. Where did you get the photo of Dede–can you provide a link?

Are the tumors cancer? Also, will they be able to continue with the treatment? A Romanian man suffering from the same disease had very good results.

Thanks for the update. I really wish he had gone with Gaspari’s Vitamin A treatment first. It looks like they just cut the warts off of his face. There seems to be some pretty serious scarring. I really am rooting for the guy, but I think if they just continue to cut the warts, he is going to end up severely scarred.

  • Thanks for the update, I just wondering how he could manage to get dress if his arms and legs are full of warts?

  • Hi Bonnie, sorry to post the comment here, was looking for your email but couldn’t find it. Anyway, I’d be honored to have you as the contributor for our forum. Will you please email me at finallywoken.blog@gmail.com? Thanks again. cheers!

I hope they help his friends too !!

I’m glad I found this as it is difficult to find any information updates on Dede. I hope he continues to get well. But does anyone know what happened to his friends? Were they treated as well?

  • Wavatar Kathie

Dooes anyone know why Dede didn’t go with the medicine as opposed to the operations? In the “My shocking story” episode it appears that the treatment costs were met but that Dede decided not to?

Sorry for my English ; I usually speak French !
I’d like to know how Dede Koswara is doing since april 2008 because we don’t have no news anymore !
I hope that the indonesian surgeons continue to help him with the help of Dr Gaspari.
Does anybody knows something new ? Thank you

  • I was watching the update on t.v.,on Sunday oct.19,2008, during the broadcast the American doctor was suppose to return to Indonesia with the chemotherapy medicine. What happened? The show ended with no response from the American doctor and Dede going through surgery with his no bones in his fingers to continue his operation. Does any body know what happened?

In a follow up episode, the chemotherapy arrived and Dede started taking it. He also began using this topical medication/paste which dried up the warts and they started falling off. Dede returned to his village where he was told that a parcel of land was purchased/donated for him. He was still waiting to see if the surgery on his hand was successful and if the chemo stopped the warts from coming back. If all goes well, he will be able to tend to the land and make a living for himself and two children. I want another follow-up story as I am hooked on his progress. Michele Sacramento, CA

  • Me and my family will be praying for dede so that the lord can cure him with his mighty power!!! Cuz nothing is impossible for the LORD!!!My church The Chicago Tabernacle will be praying too. God Bless

    Hallo.
Alles gute weiterhin.Miftar Berbat Germany(Deutschland).
